Yogi on Location

ROADSIGNUSA #11
SEPTEMBER 28, 2014 / EVENT
4200 BLOCK OF BELLAIRE BLVD, 77025
Picture
RoadsignUSA #11
The ground shudders at the street location of a high speed railroad train passing.  Amy Sanford is the trained yogi and David Kimling the skilled photographer who choreographed this calming moment in front of a sturdy oak tree while on-location for their photo shoot.  Their 12'x5' banner billboard is at Newcastle and Bellaire Boulevard inside Loop 610, an otherwise unremarkable location in Urban America, 77025.  Amy and David have been shooting a handstand every day for a year, beginning January 1, 2014.  This one they had to time perfectly.  They added another at the reception for the sign, too, day 271, and it was gorgeous- landed it on a picnic table near Roadsign's utility sign pole.  The slideshow below tells the story of their balancing act when we all came dressed to do handstands, but only Amy pulled it off.
Amy and David reside in Nacogdoches, Texas. Amy says the two of them have enjoyed discovering new areas within Nacogdoches, exploring other cities, meeting new people, and designing a creative record of 2014.

Thanks to Pralaya Yoga - A Robert Boustany Studio for sponsoring Amy and David. Their logo resides on the backside of the sign while #11 is up for six months!
