Print Transfers on Glass
My hand-made weather contraptions are photographed on a background of textured fabric to intentionally catch a pattern of raking light, then digitally altered to make a transfer of what appears under glass, to be an inked plate intaglio print. The process produces a brilliant surface of color and overlaps four art disciplines- printmaking, photography, drawing, and sculpture.
