Materials, Places and Empty Spaces

My starting point for each of the aluminum prints on this page is a hand-held 3D sculpture constructed of slip-cast clay, secondhand home goods and hardware parts. Via the process of digital illustration and photography, I re-contextualize the one-of-a-kind sculptures into remote controllers able to thin the humidity in the clouds and clear a path through rain and air.

Wall or Shelf Display

Each work in the Longing to Travel series is printed on fine grained aluminum. They are lightweight and come with a magnetic device that makes them easy to hang or display on a desk or shelf.
